What is Canvas Hockey?

Canvas Hockey is a top-down, arcade-style party game based on the sport of Ice Hockey. You can team up with friends in local multiplayer for 1v1 or 2v2 battles, or set up custom Tournaments for up to 12 players.

You can also start a single player Career, where you start at the bottom (Bronze league) and work your way up to the top (CHL elite). Manage your roster by trading your partner and goalie, or if your team is losing, trade yourself! Keep track of all of your stats and team history in this endless Career mode, as the A.I. progressively get faster and more skilled as you move up the leagues!

About the Studio: Synvoyity

The company was started by Brandon Holt, who is currently working on his PhD in Bioengineering at Georgia Tech. In the short term, the studio aims to launch and support Canvas Hockey, which includes fostering a community around the game. For now, the studio will host tournaments on their discord server via Steam remote play, but as the player base grows, we plan to add an online multiplayer competitive mode. We also see the Nintendo Switch as the optimal platform for this game, but getting the game on Switch first requires a successful Steam launch. Moving forward, the studio plans to spend its resources on creating educational scientific video games.
